The motor vehicle interior unit (4) has a loading space (14) which has a loading space base (24). A vehicle seat (34) is arranged before the loading space, where the vehicle seat has a backrest (38). A cover (42) is hinged at a backrest part (40) such that the cover is moved from a supporting position into a loading base position. The cover is connected to a rear side (44) of the backrest part in the supporting position. The cover is arranged above the loading space base, particularly in horizontal manner in the loading base position and is supported at a motor vehicle (2).
