PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a money processing apparatus facilitating recognition of the actual storage number of sheets of denomination existing in a near empty state, which is near empty. SOLUTION: The money processing apparatus for storing currency inputted in a slot into a storage provided for every denomination or mixed denominations after identifying and counting in every denomination while dispensing changes from the storage after deciding the denomination and the number of sheets based on dispensing indication given from a control unit, comprises an operation display unit 4 for performing a predetermined guidance by displaying information relating to a storage status of the currency in the storage. An LED display unit 4a of the operation display unit 4 has a number of sheets display mode for displaying the stored number of sheets corresponding to the denomination when the stored number of sheets of at least one denomination of the currency in the storage is near empty.
