PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect a motion quantity of a capsule endoscope (CE) inside a patient's body. SOLUTION: The CE 11 is provided with a CE acceleration sensor 42 for detecting acceleration. An antenna 16 fitted to a shield shirt 15 a patient 10 puts on is provided with a patient acceleration sensor 19 for detecting the acceleration. The CE acceleration is transmitted by radio to a (receiver 12) recorder 17 from the CE 11. A result of detection of the patient acceleration sensor 19 is inputted to the recorder 17. In the recorder 17, a relative motion amount of the CE11 with respect to the patient 10 is detected on the basis of the CE acceleration and the patient acceleration. Even when the patient 10 moves, it is possible to discriminate a difference between the motion of the patient 10 and the motion of the CE11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
