A heat cutting type hair removal apparatus is provided, which can remove hair without pain and skin damage, improves stability, and prevents malaise generation. A heat cutting type hair removal apparatus comprises: an auto-switching part(11) which generates the unhairing operating signal if the friction roller rotates while being in contact with the skin; a signal amplification part(12) amplifying the unhairing operating signal generated in the auto-switching part to the recognition possibility level; a signal decision part(13) which determines whether the signal amplified in the signal amplification part is the unhairing operating signal or not; a hair removing part(14) removing the hair passing between the comb teeth using hotwire; a location movement part(15) adhering the hair removing part closely to the skin; a power supply unit(16) supplying the drive power to each part; a hair removing part; and an operation switching unit(17) supplying the power to the location movement part.
