PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling mechanical element capable of easily and effectively preventing surface damage of contact surfaces without using special material and applying processing such as special heat treatment even when the rolling mechanical element has poor lubrication. SOLUTION: Crowning in which the sum of drop amounts of contacting two objects is expressed by logarithmic function is formed on the rolling surfaces of rollers serving as the contact surfaces. Local contact pressure can be reduced and abrasion is hardly caused on the contact surfaces as compared with the case where crowning indicated by partial arcs is provided on the rolling surfaces of the rollers. Accordingly, even when the film thickness ratio of a lubrication film becomes 3 or less due to a minute amount or low viscosity of a lubricant agent, by employing the crowning in which the drop amounts are expressed by the logarithmic function, abrasion of the contact surfaces can be prevented and damage of the rolling mechanical element can be prevented.
