PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-pole safety belt capable of smoothly putting a waist rope without the risk of breaking a support body even when the support body has a larger diameter. SOLUTION: The on-pole safety belt 10 includes: a waist belt 1 to be put around a waist and fixed to the waist via a buckle 7; a hook 3 arranged at one end of the waist belt 1; and the waist rope 2 fixed to the other end of the waist belt 1, and having a ring shape part 8 which is to be engaged with the hook 3 at the distal end.
