<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire covering resin material having all the required physical properties that are above a fixed level using a cyclic olefinic resin, and an electric wire using the electric wire covering resin material, and a flame retardant cable. <P>SOLUTION: The wire covering resin material containing (A) the olefinic resin, (B) an elastomer resin, (C) the cyclic olefinic resin in which the glass transition point is from 120°C to 170°C, and (D) a flame retardant agent is used. The content of (D) component is from 60 pts. by mass to 150 pts. by mass when a sum of (A) component, (B) component, and (C) component is 100 pts. by mass, the tensile elongation (conforming to JIS C3005) is 250% and more, and heat deformation (conforming to JIS C3005) is 40% or less. Preferably, the mass ratio of (A) component and a sum of (B) component and (C) component, [(A)/((B)+(C))] is from 80/20 to 60/40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
