<p>Axial centrifugal-type fan for conveying corrosive gases comprises a frustoconical housing of which the base contains the rotor and is mounted on a support connected to the suction pipe. The base of the housing ends in a collar which is surrounded by a detachable clamped support to allow access to the rotor. Pref. the housing contains an insulated chamber accessible from the exterior via a cover, for contg. the drive means e.g. an electrical rotor which is connected to the rotor directly ro via transmission means. The whole appts. is pref. made of polypropylene. The motor is thus insulated from the fluid conveyed by the fan, and can easily be inspected.</p> |
