[Class 131] [Also in Group VI] A device for applying cosmetic to eyelashes and curling them comprises a pair of resiliently mounted hollow arms 12 adapted to support along their entire length sticks of mascara 11 and to spring apart when finger pressure is released. The mascara refills 11 have metal caps 34 which are engaged by pivoted arms 32 fed forward by a nut 30 controlled by a screw 26 and knob 29 to advance the mascara as required. The arms 12 are mounted in sockets 14, 15 formed in one with a spring base 16. The device, together with a detachable mascara brush, is enclosed in a casing. |
