PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw mechanism capable of saving energy and securing lubricating performance even when it is used over a long period of time. SOLUTION: A lubricant G adhered on the outer periphery of a screw shaft 1 is scraped up by a tapered face 2d of a flange part 2c by a nut 2 moving to the left in the axial direction with respect to the screw shaft 1. Further, after the tapered face 2d abuts on a tapered part 5b of a returning member 5 with the entire circumference by a stroke end of the nut 2, by reaction force of the tapered face 2d, the tapered part 5b is deformed to be narrowed while abutting on the tapered face 2d with the entire circumference.
