摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium battery capable of effectively preventing short circuit between a positive electrode and a negative electrode even when a laminate including a positive electrode layer, a negative electrode layer, and a solid electrolyte layer is housed in an outer container in a rolled state or bent state. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium battery is formed by housing the laminate 1 formed by laminating a positive electrode layer 20, a negative electrode layer 40 each absorbing and releasing lithium, and an SE layer 30 mediating conduction of lithium between the electrode layers 20, 40. The lithium battery has an electrode dividing part where the positive electrode layer 20 does not partially exist in a portion where is locally bent (a bending stress applied portion R) when the laminate 1 is housed in the outer container. An insulator 60 is arranged between the SE layer 30 and the negative electrode layer 40 in the position of the electrode dividing part. The total thickness of the electrode layer (the negative electrode layer 40), the SE layer 30, and the insulator 60 is equal to or lower than the total thickness of the electrode layer (the positive electrode layer 20, the negative electrode layer 40) and the SE layer 30 in the part other than the electrode dividing part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
