PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expired air examining apparatus which increases an amount of expired air to be input in the expired air examining apparatus from a subject, and is improved in detection accuracy for a component contained in the expired air. SOLUTION: The expired air examining apparatus has a detector which detects a prescribed component contained in the expired air of the subject. The expired air examining apparatus is characterized by comprising: an indoor regulation means for regulating an indoor environment under which an examination is carried out, such that the body of the subject gets stimulated so as to increase the amount of the expired air of the subject, when conducting the examination using the expired air examining apparatus; and an examining means for conducting the examination in order to detect the prescribed component by using the detector for the subject in the indoor environment.
