PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door handle structure which provides a handle plate with a ventilating function and a door handle function, and a door. SOLUTION: An opening 4 used as an air passage is formed in a door body 2. The handle plate 9 journaled in an openable/closable manner to the door body 2 is disposed in the opening 4. The center part of the handle plate 9 is provided with a through-hole 10 formed to permit opening/closing of the door body 2 and handle plate 9. The door body 2 is kept closed to ventilate by inserting the hand in the through-hole 10 to grip and open the handle plate 9 orthogonally to the door body 2. For not ventilating, the handle plate 9 is closed to be flush with the door body 2 to keep the door body 2 in a flat state.
