<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle warning device for warning a traveling vehicle of an obstacle such as dropped object and a vehicle stopped on a road. <P>SOLUTION: The obstacle warning device is arranged to include an area on a road in a detection range, and notifies an entering vehicle of an obstacle on the road. The obstacle warning device includes: a first detection means detecting the obstacle in the area on the road beyond a predetermined position in the area in a vehicle approaching direction; a second detection means detecting an obstacle on the road in the area on the near side of the predetermined position; a weather detection means detecting weather; and an obstacle information output means outputting the detection result from the first detection means as obstacle information when the weather detection means detects that the weather is in a first condition and outputting the detection results from the first detection means and the second detection means as the obstacle information when weather in a second condition is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
