The device has a locking mechanism (1) including a combination lock (3) and a secondary lock (4), and a secret key code adjusted in the combination lock using adjustable coding elements (10). The key code is determined using the secondary lock, and a resting unit (8) is adjusted between idle- and operating positions, where the resting unit is not acted on the combination lock in the idle position and the resting unit is in attachment to the coding elements in the operating position. The resting unit includes a number of spring arms (9) with key elements (18). The resting unit, spring arms and key elements are made up of single piece plastic component.
