<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet-curable ink composition for ink-jet printing use, excellent in jet stability, and also excellent in printing coating film performance including the abrasion resistance and scratch resistance of the resulting printed matter. <P>SOLUTION: The ultraviolet-curable ink composition for ink-jet printing use is characterized by including: an ultraviolet-curable compound; a photopolymerization initiator; and a methyl phenyl silicone oil.
