摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection control device of an internal combustion engine which allows quick recovery of NOx purification function of a catalyst while preventing the occurrence of an after fire when executing asynchronous injection at fuel injection recovery from fuel cut of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: An oxygen storage amount in a three-way catalyst is calculated during fuel cut of an engine. When fuel injection is recovered from a fuel cut state, a required asynchronous injection amount is calculated on the basis of the oxygen storage amount in the three-way catalyst. When the required asynchronous injection amount is more than combustible air-fuel ratio injection amount, split asynchronous injection is performed in the maximum injection amount within a range of combustible air fuel ratio in a combustion chamber. After that, a value reducing the split asynchronous injection amount from the required asynchronous injection amount is taken as a new required asynchronous injection amount.
