PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for vibration-proof rubber and vibration-proof rubber that have especially excellent heat resistance while improving durability and flatting resistance. SOLUTION: In the rubber composition for vibration-proof rubber containing a rubber component comprising diene-based rubber as a principal component and a sulfur-based vulcanizing agent, at least two compounds are contained selected from the group consisting of (A) a bismaleimide compound, (B) a compound represented by formula (1): R-S-(CH<SB>2</SB>)<SB>x</SB>-S-R (wherein x is an integer of 2-12; and R is a thiocarbamoyl group having an aromatic hydrocarbon group or a fatty acid hydrocarbon group in the molecular structure, a benzothiazole group, or -SO<SB>3</SB><SP>-</SP>Na<SP>+</SP>group), and (C) an oxime compound.
