DISPLAY CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control apparatus that sets important regions of image contents from scalable encoding image data, and to provide a display control method.

SOLUTION: The display control apparatus discriminates information of spatial resolution of images on each layer that the scalable encoding image data have. The apparatus sets the smallest region among the regions in the contents of the same images that are expressed by images of each layer as the most important layer when the spatial resolution of the images in the multiple layers are the same.
