PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power takeoff device capable of accommodating by single software and hardware even when it is difficult to handle by a single PID (Proportional-Integral-Differential) gain, without the need for a plurality of pieces of software and a plurality of kinds of hardware. SOLUTION: The power takeoff device includes a control device (10) to control the amount of fuel injection. The control device (10) includes a determination unit (14) to determine a PID gain for controlling the amount of fuel injection based on a deviation between a target engine rotational speed and an actual engine rotational speed; a storage unit (13); a diagnosis unit (16); and a switching unit (17) that, when the PID gain is not adequate, switches the PID gain by selecting other PID gain stored in the storage unit (13).
