PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a banknote processing device which can reduce the occurrence of uncollected paper media (dispensed banknotes). SOLUTION: The banknote processing device has a media reception-dispensation port 18 through which the paper-like media are delivered, and a media reception-dispensation port mechanism 30 that consecutively moves up and down the paper-like media reeled out from the inside of a device (an automatic transaction device 1) inside the media reception-dispensation port. The media reception-dispensation port mechanism consecutively moves up and down the paper-like media inside the media delivering port, thereby reporting a position of the paper-like media to a user by a visual action.
