摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of obtaining superior dynamic range enlarged images, even when photographing by emitting auxiliary light. SOLUTION: The imaging device includes: a solid-state imaging element 5 including main pixels and subpixels capable of respectively independently reading charges; an auxiliary light emitting unit 4 comprising a light source 42 and a filter 41, which is provided so as to be taken in and out at the front of the light source 42 and reduces the light emitting amount of light emitted from the light source 42, and for emitting at least part of the light emitted from the light source 42 toward an object as the auxiliary light; a light source drive unit 42a for emitting, from the light source 42, the light of the same light quantity respectively, in a time period, which does not overlap a subpixel exposure time period in a main pixel exposure time period, and the subpixel exposure time period; and a filter drive unit 41a for controlling the position of the filter 41 during the light emitting time period of the light so that the ratio, between the light emitting amount of the auxiliary light emitted during the main pixel exposure time period and the light emitting amount of the auxiliary light emitted during the subpixel exposure time period, almost matches the ratio between the main pixel exposure time period and the subpixel exposure time period.
