<p>A stent fatigue testing apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a first mounting unit and a second mounting unit disposed separately from each other and mounted at both ends of a stent test piece; and a magnetostriction member (Terfenol-D) composed for generating vibrations using a strain of materials according to the change of an applied magnetic field to apply the vibrations to any one of the first mounting unit and the second mounting unit, thereby repetitively increase or decrease a distance between the first mounting unit and the second mounting unit. According to the present invention, it is possible to carry out acceleration test evaluation since the vibration frequency applied to the stent may be increased to several hertz (?), apply vibrations of various amplitudes to the stent even without any additional components for vibration amplification, simplify the stent fatigue test noticeably since any process for controlling resonance is not necessary, and carry out the stent fatigue test under the circumstances equal to immersion states into real blood.</p> |
