PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmitter for copying copyright-protected content to other devices without reducing user convenience, while conforming to copyright protection regulations. SOLUTION: The information transmitter includes a reception means, a management means, a transmission means, and a update means. The reception means receives first content with a first playable time specifying an allowable viewing time after reproduction start. The management means manages the first content in association with a remaining playable time in which a user is allowed to view the first content. The transmission means transmits second content and playable time information to a duplicate destination device, the second content being a duplicate of the first content, and the second playable time information specifying a time in which the user can view the second content on a device that stores the duplicate content.
