ALUMINUM PRODUCT HAVING AIR PURIFICATION PERFORMANCE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum product such as an aluminum heat exchanger that carries a catalyst for air purification through a binder on the surface thereof and is imparted an air purification performance, and while enhancing the air purification performance, to sufficiently prevent the falling of the catalyst due to a corrosion on the surface of the aluminum carrying the catalyst thereon even in a long-time use, and to prevent a degradation of air purification performance and a diffusion of a catalytic component into the atmosphere over a long period of time.

SOLUTION: The aluminum product having air purification performance includes the aluminum product formed a boehmite layer on a surface thereof and the catalyst for air purification carried through the binder on the surface of the aluminum product.
