<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring for meter use which can improve external appearance. <P>SOLUTION: In the ring for meter use 6, the surface of a ring body 61 is made a mirror surface. An outer surface 61b and an inner surface 61c, which are positioned with a top surface 61a disposed in between them, have the same degree of mirror surface as a cavity surface of a metal mold for molding the ring body 61. The top surface 61a has a degree of mirror surface exceeding the degree of mirror surface of the cavity surface. A coloring layer 62 is formed on the outer surface 61b and the inner surface 61c.
