PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine having an operation pedal smoothly operated. SOLUTION: The sewing machine includes: a sewing machine body 10 including a sewing mechanism unit and a sewing machine frame for receiving the sewing mechanism unit, a table 20 having a top surface for installing the sewing machine body thereon, a sewing machine motor 30 as the driving source of the sewing machine body, a control box 40 for storing a control unit of the sewing machine, the operation pedal 50 for inputting the operation of the sewing machine, a pedal sensor 60 for detecting the operation of the operation pedal, and a transmission rod 70 for transmitting the operation of the operation pedal to a pedal sensor. The pedal sensor is separated from the control box, and the sewing machine motor, control box, and pedal sensor are separately mounted to the table in a position adjustable manner.
