<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter for intravascular treatment capable of being independently used even if a guide wire is not used as compared with a conventional catheter system for intravascular treatment necessarily using the guide wire, capable of being inserted through a blood vessel up to a lesion part by easy operation because of excellent forcing properties, rotatory power transmission properties and bending-resistant properties and capable of achieving rapid medical treatment. <P>SOLUTION: In the catheter for intravascular treatment constituted of a flexible hollow tubular body having a first tubular body region for forming a leading end part and a second tubular body region for forming a base end part, the first tubular body region is configured to include a material based on a thermoplastic resin and the second tubular body region contains a hollow coil body constituted by twisting a plurality of linear members on the concentric circumference of a circle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
