VORTEX TUBE

PURPOSE: A vortex tube having reduced diameter and weight is provided to improve work efficiency by reducing the fatigue of operator and minimizing the diameter and weight of rotating part. CONSTITUTION: A vortex tube having reduced diameter and weight comprises a cylindrical main body(110) and a rotating unit(130). The compressed air is separated into hot and cool air in the inside of the main body. The rotating unit is attached to the exterior of a rotation sleeve(120) expanded from the main body. A compressive air inlet is formed on the outer circumference of the rotating unit. The main body and rotating unit are arranged to be separated from each other. A cylindrical reinforcing unit(140) is formed between the main body and rotating unit. The diameter of the cylindrical reinforcing unit gets smaller while going from the main body to the rotating unit.
