Amine resin prodn reactor/mixer - with aniline and formal dehyde feed

To obtain max. yield of amine resin without formation of any second reaction by products, a tee piece, mix or is used, the formaldehyde (I) being fed into the junction, or near it, of the centre lines of the main channels via at least five tubular nozzles, approx. 4 mm bore the main channels having a bore of approx. 38mm. The aniline (II) is fed in to the mixer via the branch channel at a higher flow velocity than (I) but at a lower pressure esp. with a differential of 2.8 kgf/cm2. The inlet temp. of (I) is 27 degrees C. and of (II) is 27-52 degrees C.
