PURPOSE: A portable vacuum cleaner is provided to enable a user to efficiently clean a gap or corner without interference by extracting a suction box from the cleaner. CONSTITUTION: A portable vacuum cleaner includes a body(3), a dust box(5) and a suction box. The body includes a vacuum hole(31) which enables the action of a vacuum function, and a vacuum pump which generates vacuum. The dust box is attached to and detached from the surface of the vacuum hole and receives dusts through the vacuum function. The suction box is installed at the one side of the dust box and allows the sliding movement thereof.
