<p>A highlight section including a highlight scene is appropriately extracted by fewer operations. A reflection coefficient calculation unit (12) calculates a parameter (reflection coefficient) which represents a gradient of a spectrum distribution of an input acoustic signal for each frame. A reflection coefficient comparator (13) calculates the magnitude of a change in the reflection coefficient between adjacent frames over a plurality of frames adjacent to each other and compares the result of the calculation with a threshold value. An acoustic signal classification unit (14) classifies the input acoustic signal into a background noise section and a speech section, on the basis of the comparison result. A background noise level calculation unit (15) calculates a background noise level in the background noise section from signal energy in the background noise section. An event detector (16) detects an event occurrence point from a sudden increase in the background noise level. A highlight section determination unit (17) determines a start point and an end point of the highlight section, on the basis of the relationship between the classification of the background noise section and speech section and the background noise level before and after the event occurrence point.</p> |
