<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type water heater capable of suppressing the corrosion and clogging of a water heat exchanger even if groundwater such as well water is used as water supply source. <P>SOLUTION: The heat pump type water heater 11 has a refrigerant circuit 13 having the water heat exchanger 21 and circulating a refrigerant through a refrigerant pipe, a hot water storage circuit 17 having a tank 15 for storing water, a water inlet pipe 27 distributing the water in the tank 15 to the water heat exchanger 21, and a hot water supply pipe 29 for returning the water heated by the water heat exchanger 21 to the tank 15, a water supply pipe 37 for supplying the water to the tank 15 from the water supply source, a hot water supply pipe 35 for supplying the water of a high temperature stored in the tank 15, a pressure reducing valve 47 disposed in the water inlet pipe 27, and a container 91 disposed in the water inlet pipe 27 downstream of the pressure reducing valve 47, temporarily storing the water flowing therein from the water inlet pipe 27, and releasing the stored water to the atmosphere. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
