PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device preventing a liquid crystal cell from being damaged by partially over-pressurizing it in mounting a TCP (Tape Carrier Package) on the liquid crystal cell. SOLUTION: In the mounting device for pressurizing the TCP 6 by a pressurizing unit 11 to mount it on a side part of the liquid crystal cell 4, the pressurizing unit includes a cylinder 16, an attaching element 18 which is driven vertically by the cylinder, and a pressurizing tool 15 the lower end of which is formed to have an elongated pressurizing surface 22a in a predetermined direction and which is slidably coupled to the attaching element in a longitudinal direction of the pressurizing surface.
