PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for collecting use history information of a toner cartridge.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: the toner cartridge for storing and exchanging toner and provided with an outlet from which the toner falls; a reserve tank provided with an intake taking in the toner fallen from the outlet, preparatorily storing the toner, and supplying the toner to a developing unit; a toner cartridge drive means for driving the toner cartridge for supplying the toner to the reserve tank; a reserve tank drive means for driving the reserve tank for supplying the toner to the developing unit; a storage means provided for the toner cartridge and for storing peculiar information of the toner cartridge; and a communication means for storing to receive information stored to the storage means and to transmit the cumulative drive time of the toner cartridge drive means and the cumulative drive time of the reserve tank drive means to the storage means. |
