PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device in which an increase of power consumption is small, a power supply circuit is simple and control is easy, and to provide a computer program for controlling the image display device. SOLUTION: In afterimage removal processing, when a selected content is displayed on a display panel (S61:YES), a page (nth page) displayed at present is displayed again (S62). Concretely, a CPU controls a display control part to write the same page on the display panel again by display data of the page (nth page) displayed at present stored in the display data storage region of a RAM (S62). Thus, an afterimage of the page before the page (nth page) displayed at present is erased or reduced and the page (nth page) displayed at present is excellently displayed.
