<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preferentially selecting a fault report transmitted due to a problem on the network side definitely, out of many fault reports transmitted from a server manager to a network manager in a data center. <P>SOLUTION: A network management device includes: a reception section which receives fault occurrence information of at least one server connected to the network; a fault occurrence time estimation section which estimates the occurrence time of a fault on the basis of fault occurrence information received by the reception section; a path specifying section which specifies a path on which a server corresponding to the fault occurrence information exists, on the basis of fault occurrence information received by the reception section; a device information acquisition section which obtains information about a device on the predetermined path; and a fault association degree operation section which operates the degree of association with the fault, which shows the degree of association of the fault corresponding to the fault occurrence information with the device on the network, on the basis of variation of information relating to the device within a fault occurrence time estimated by the fault occurrence time estimation section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
