PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device at low cost without causing drop in display quality, even if a plurality of display units, which are different in driving voltage required for displaying, are simultaneously displayed on a single liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a single liquid crystal display panel 1 which is provided with: a first liquid crystal display unit 4 and a second liquid crystal display unit 5 which are different in the driving voltage; and an upper dummy electrode 6 and an under dummy electrode 7 provided respectively on upper glass 2 and under glass 3 of the liquid crystal display panel 1 which correspond to the background of the periphery of the second liquid crystal display unit 5, wherein the electrode-to-electrode distance is equal to the width of the electric wiring of the first liquid crystal display unit. One of the dummy electrodes, except that which is adjacent to the second liquid crystal display unit 5, is connected to the electric wiring of the first liquid crystal display unit 4 to cause no potential difference between these liquid crystal display units which operate by different liquid-driving voltages and to make the light transmittance of the dummy electrodes uniform.
