<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device achieving a thyristor function without having complicated process. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor device having a memory circuit that stores predetermined potential by a reset operation and initialization operation, is configured to be provided with a circuit that rewrites data in the memory circuit in response to supply of a trigger signal.
