PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate panorama image data having an accuracy higher than that in the prior art by increasing the accuracy of joint between a plurality of pieces of division image data.

SOLUTION: An image processing device acquires panorama image data for a subject (step S201) and acquires division image data of the subject therefrom (step S202). The image processing device then calculates a difference between each division image data and the panorama image data in a zone corresponding to the associated division image data (step S206), and executes a correcting operation over each division image data (step S207). The image processing device then generates panorama image data by combining the corrected division image data (step S212).
