<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change visual effects of a desktop without changing a background. <P>SOLUTION: The server device delivers respective images divided by performing cutout or the like of one original image in a square state to a terminal T as icons of applications, so that the terminal T downloads and collects the applications of the icons i based on the one image, and arranges them on the desktop to complete and display the one image. As a result, even in the terminal T wherein a background image cannot be changed, the whole image can be represented by the icons i arranged in place of the background image, the visual effects of the desktop can be changed.
