PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing support structure that suitably suppresses vibration transmitted to a housing while securing positioning accuracy of the housing, and to provide an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: The housing support structure includes: the housing including a first wall and a second wall on the opposite side from the first wall; a support including a first support unit arranged along the first wall and a second support unit having an edge surface for supporting the housing and arranged along the second wall; and an absorption member for absorbing vibration between the housing and support. The first wall includes a first projection and a second projection protruding toward the first support unit and fixed to the first support unit. The second wall includes a third projection protruding toward the second support unit and attached to the second support unit, and a fourth projection extending along the edge surface. The absorption member is arranged between the edge surface and fourth projection. |
