PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rust removal device capable of easily removing rust generated on a bottom face of a transformer case on a pole.SOLUTION: The rust removal device includes: a movable table 2, which can be retreated, has an axial direction vertically directed, support from a lower side the transformer case T on the post with the bottom face directed downward; a clamp mechanism 3 for clamping the case supported on the movable table; and a grinding device 6 supported through a lifting and lowering device and an X-Y moving device under the clamped case and grinding the bottom surface of the case by bringing a rotating grinding brush into contact with the bottom face of the case. In a state that the movable table 2 is retreated from a position under the clamped case T, the grinding device 6 is moved in an XY direction on a horizontal plane by the X-Y moving device, so that the rotating grinding brush is moved along the bottom face of the case to remove the rust on the entire bottom face of the case. |
