SPEAKER DEVICE AND SOUND OUTPUT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a low-pitched sound zone with a simple construction and without increase in the size.

SOLUTION: A speaker device comprises a pipe 102 with one end and the other end opened; a speaker unit 104 which is arranged coaxially with the pipe 102 and on one end thereof and which is driven on the basis of a sound signal; and an edge-cum-diaphragm 102B which is arranged coaxially with the pipe 102 on the other end thereof and which vibrates by receiving a sound wave passing through the inside of the pipe 102. The speaker device functions as a resonance tube with excitation of the pipe 102 caused by a sound wave radiating from the speaker unit 104 and passing through the inside of the pipe 102 and also functions as a passive radiator with a vibration of the edge-cum-diaphragm 102B caused by receiving the sound wave passing through the inside of the pipe 102.
