<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for capillaceous ion chromatography which is useful to determine a huge number of ion species. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus for capillaceous ion chromatography comprises a suppressor. The suppressor is a device which has a flow-through ion-exchange filler in a housing and a capillary pipe (32) which is formed with a permselective ion-exchange film and is at least partially arranged in the ion-exchange filler. The suppressor also has a recycling conduit pipe (38) for aqueous fluid from a detector (34) to a base filler.
