<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a long-term cleaning effect without allowing occurrence of curling up, chatter or the like of a cleaning blade in an image forming device in which untransferred toner on a surface of an intermediate transfer belt is removed by the cleaning blade. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises waste toner supplying means 50 which disperses waste toner 63 on an intermediate transfer belt 11 between a secondary transfer area 17 and a cleaning blade 41, the waste toner which has been removed and collected by the cleaning blade 41 from the intermediate transfer belt 11.
