PURPOSE: A terminal for selecting the region of interest on a blood vessel genealogy and a method thereof are provided to maximize user satisfaction by enabling a user to selectively display the blood vessel of a blood vessel schematic diagram. CONSTITUTION: In a terminal for selecting the region of interest on a blood vessel genealogy and a method thereof, a display unit(110) displays a blood vessel schematic diagram. An extracting unit(120) extracts an area of interest from the blood vessel schematic diagram. A storage(130) stores at least one among the unique segment adjacent to area of interest. A searcher(140) searches the spot of the blood vessel which is closest to an initial point and an endpoint. The display unit displays the blood vessel schematic diagram of the interest region and a specific segment.
