<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit capable of setting thresholds to a plurality of comparators at a constant interval. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor integrated circuit includes: first to Nth comparators that compare an input voltage with thresholds, respectively; and a control circuit that alternately executes a first operation and a second operation a plurality of times, restricts the threshold of the first comparator to a neighborhood of a first value, and restricts the threshold of an Mth comparator (1<M<N) to a neighborhood of a second value. In the first operation, the threshold of the Mth comparator is defined as TH<SB POS="POST">M</SB>, the threshold of an (M+1)th comparator is defined as TH<SB POS="POST">M+1</SB>, and the threshold of the Mth comparator is updated by adding a value obtained by multiplying (TH<SB POS="POST">M+1</SB>-TH<SB POS="POST">M</SB>) by a positive real number smaller than one to TH<SB POS="POST">M</SB>, in a first state. In the second operation, the threshold of the Mth comparator is defined as TH<SB POS="POST">M</SB>, the threshold of an (M-1)th comparator is defined as TH<SB POS="POST">M-1</SB>, and the threshold of the Mth comparator is updated by adding a value obtained by multiplying (TH<SB POS="POST">M-1</SB>-TH<SB POS="POST">M</SB>) by a positive real number smaller than one to TH<SB POS="POST">M</SB>, in a second state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
