摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of a male shaft and a female shaft, which can reduce a press-fit load while securing necessary joint strength. <P>SOLUTION: Tooth faces 711 of four sections of shrink-fit teeth 71 are in contact with respective tooth faces 611 of a tooth 61 of a female serration 6, which results in elastic deformation mutually and produces the press-fit load. On the other hand, tooth faces 721 of four sections of clearance-fit teeth 72 are not in contact with tooth faces 611 of the tooth 61 of the female serration 6, which therefore does not produce the press-fit load. Thus, when the male serration 7 is press-fit into the female serration 6, the female serration 6 and the male serration 7 deform elastically, which absorbs the manufacture errors of the female serration 6 and the male serration 7, so that the press-fit load is stabilized and the necessary joint strength is secured easily.
