<p>Thread roots are inserted and unscrewed from injection mouldings by an auxiliary appliance for an injection moulding machine which employes a motor-driven, hollow spindle to apply torque. Adjustable switching elements are associated with stationary switches for determining the start and finish of unscrewing the core of the thread to the extent that they are adjusted. Instead of being connectable to the thread core, the hollow spindle can be coupled to a structural member of the casting mould, and this member can be swivelled about a central angle of 360 degrees in accordance with each work cycle of the injection moulding machine. The arrangement is partic. useful in the moulding of plastic components having threaded parts, i.e. thread roots and screw sockets.</p> |
